On the 21st of June, we had a one of a kind Campaign against Tobacco and for Cancer Prevention. Dr. Pankaj Chaturvedi from Tata Memorial Hospital and Volunteers and Survivors from V-care Cancer Foundation came together at HELP to create awareness about the disastrous consequences of tobacco consumption in any form be it smoking or gutka chewing, tobacco kills in each form, and yet , so many youngsters, even highly educated top executives are chain smokers..Why?? Not only is it a terrible trend amongst the working class, it is setting a dangerous example for young children and even so many Girls who have taken to smoking.. This was the reason behind the campaign to at least know the dangers which could maybe deterrent and stop them from consuming tobacco, before it ruins their life as well as their family.

Nicotine is the addictive drug in tobacco smoke that causes smokers to continue to smoke. Addicted smokers need enough nicotine over a day to ‘feel normal’ – to satisfy cravings or control their mood. How much nicotine a smoker needs determines how much smoke they are likely to inhale, no matter what type of cigarette they smoke. http://www.chantixhome.com/
